Urban Schools Collaborative's CODEHER {koh-der} is an all-female academic club that exposes girls to Computer Science and Robotics college/career paths.  CODEHER is a series of academic and social events promoting knowledge, character, and confidence. CODEHERs are 9yrs - 12yrs of age.

USC has teamed up with Apple Store Houston - Galleria to provide a unique opportunity for CODEHERs to learn coding and STEM {with limited or no experience}.

In Summer 2017, CODEHER provided camps to give girls an opportunity to work with Sphero robots, 3D printers, iPads, and Scratch to create fun games and toys at Texas Southern University in partnership with the Department of Biology [led by Dr. Ayodotun Sodipe].  

Interested applicants must complete an application to participate. The Camp Application Fee for new participants can be paid on this site once you are selected to move to the next steps.
VIP Members who have paid their membership fees for 2017 do not have to pay the camp Application Fee, however, there is a fee for T-Shirts. 
All membership participation is validated at each CODEHER events.  To be considered a VIP Member, all fees must be paid prior all events/camps.

Applicants are notified via email of acceptance once applications are received.  Teacher recommendations are required.
